Steam Deck/Linux Users Encounter Worse and Worse Lag at Room Start

Run the game via Proton v7.

Steam Desktop

  1. Right-click Heroes of Hammerwatch II in your library
  2. Select Properties
  3. Select Compatibility
  4. Enable Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
  5. Select Proton 7.0
