Training Grounds
In the Training Ground Area, there are two (later three, then four) different people who can train you on various aspects.
Respectively, they allow you to:
- Allocate
Attribute Points.
- Improve and teach you new skills using
Skill Points.
- Improve your
Athletic performance.
- Improve your
Weapon Masteries.
There are also various Training Dummies to test your damage.
(Attribute and
Skill Points are awarded by leveling up and by completing some Guild Accomplishments.)
Attribute Trainer
This trainer allows you to allocate your Attribute Points into the five base attributes.
Doing so will increase your character's overall power and enable you to meet the requirements for wearing different pieces of equipment.

Skill Trainer
He is one of the three villagers where Skill Points can be allocated. (The other two are the Weapon Master, and Trinket Attunement at the Library.)
You may spend points here to learn new skills and upgrade them.
Each classes start with their first skill (#1) and one passive (either #3 or #4) for free. Further upgrades need Skill Points.
The last two skills (#5 & #6) unlock after choosing one of three subclasses at level 10 in the Guild Hall. Changing subclasses automatically refunds all points spent in those skills (for free).
